Free Online Math Tutoring for Students by Students

StudyBuddy, the free online tutoring service provided by the National Science and Technology Education Partnership (NSTEP), is now accepting registration for tutors and tutees. High school students who have taken three years of math (with a B average or better) can enroll as tutors and may receive community service credit from their schools; middle and high school teachers can enroll their students to receive tutoring. All work is done online.

Participants will be given their own electronic notebook, called a ViewBook, where they can keep track of their sessions, access math worksheets, videos, and use the graphing calculator and equation editor. Interested math teachers should e-mail studybuddy@nstep-online.org or visit www.nstep-online.org.

For more information, contact Dr. Stevan Peters at speters@nstep-online.org.
