Tips to help educators working in laptop environments

  • Plot your strategy.
  • Give yourself some lead time.
  • Involve teachers in key decisions regarding software.
  • Differentiate instruction.
  • Use your skilled teachers as trainers.
  • Get the most from vendor training by tailoring it to your district’s needs.
  • After the initial training blast, follow up on an ongoing basis.
  • Evaluate teacher training.
  • Create support documents and make them accessible (i.e. 1:1 Links)
